first off bro, lets see some of your goals and what kind of lifting program your on and your lifting history. you are DEFinately not ready for a cycle yet bro. i would eat more cals and lift natural for at least a year or two before doing a cycle if at all.

in your diet be sure to include complex carbohydrates and 1-1.5g protein per bodyweight. oats and whole wheat toast and eggs in the mourning. shakes in between meals. snacking on berries and almonds and anpb & honey sandwitches, chicken and brown rice, tuna and salmon, and a ton of red meat and milk with fibrous greens and lean veggies are going to make you lean and big bro! along with hard cleans, squats, deadlifts, and core exercises. you have to build a foundation before you start a cycle! start a journal and check out Madcow's 5x5
Lift Big! Eat Big!

damn dude ur super tiny.......u need to eat atleast 5000-6000 cal. a day and work harder at the gym .....good luck

fuck that shit.

i hate it when everyone recommends some 165 pound dude to eat 6k cals a day, that's fucking ridiculous. even if you were on deca, test, and dbol i wouldn't recommend that many calories. there'smore to it than just raw calories and "Training harder".

eat smarter, train smarter. get high protein (1g per pound minimum) in the form of real food (red meat, fish, eggs, chicken, turkey, pork, lentils, chickpeas, beans are all high protein foods) with maybe 1 whey shake pre/post workout. don't think you can just drink whey and get built. have a good amount of healthy fats (and a little unhealthy fats are okay too) with some good carbs.

rome wasn't built in a day and your body can only use so many calories to build muscle, as long as you're in a decent calorie surplus (500 cals over) that's all you need.

no need to get diabetes, a spare tire, and crohn's disease because you want to be bulked up.

take your time, slow steady gains are key, and your health is important so don't eat 6k cals a day, try maybe 2750-3000 and you'll put good size on.

and you aren't like one of those super lean ectos so you don't need ridiculous cals like that, you WILL get fat if you eat that much and you will feel like ass 24/7.

eating a surplus is important but take your time and do it right.

This is the most meaningful post about food of seen in a while...and you absolutely spot on the the 6k a day. That will lead to nothing but fat. If you are a very active football player or someone who trains hard for comeptitions then 6k is warented...otherwise 9 out of 10 times is not. I've gained plenty over the years and very rare I've touched 6k a day...4k was more the norm...with 250-350g of protein daily. Consistency is key to success, eating the same calories day in and day out is hard to do but the only way to put on size
good post bro

do not eat the same cals day in and day iout. consistantly add more cals. eat the cals that you would eat if you were 10 lbs heavier and increase as you grow. eating the same calcs will not do anything for growth same as using the same weight day in and day out think about it.

I'm going to prompt this by saying, I know i'm in the early stages of a very, very long journey to the body that i'm happy with. I'm def intersted in a valid help on what to concentrate on other than just, "get bigger". Bench=185x1, squat= 165x1,deadlfit=185x3(can't hold on the bar)
5'8 165lbs 14%bf 24 yrs old, been lifting forever but only seriously since last december.
