Started HRT today fitrst time posting

Been reading this forum for the last couple of weeks leading up to my HRT program.Havent seriously worked out in 10 years.Started lifting naturally at 16 years old and started my first of many cycles un supervised at the age of 25 until I was 40, I am currentlly 51 years old , 5' 11", 252 lbs bodyfat 24%,total test173 free test 8.07, estradiol 12.5 ,total cholesterol 231high ldl, evereything else in the normal range , starting today 1cc test cyp 200 mg, 1cc deca both once a week hcg 50 iu twice a week and anastrozole .5 mg 3 times a week , everything is being monitored by my doctor, well anyways heading to the gym right now ! will post before pics later this week​
 
You haven't been reading enough bro. Deca? AT YOUR age? Bad, bad, bad, move.

Also, your FreeT is in the toilet and no UNLEASHED? Why? Get some ASAP.
 
Just running what my doctor perscribed for me,which included the deca 1/2 cc a week for my joint pain, I will look into the unleashed Thx
 
There are other things besides deca for joints. You might want to look into krill oil, flax oil, or fish oil; maybe even a join supplement.

deca has been the only thing that has helped my joint pain....100 mg a week for 10 weeks with Hcg 100iu a week was prescribed by my HRT doctor

I will Alin......will also post my diet when I get it dialed in....don't want to add any supplements until I find out how the meds are working out for me....Dr also has me on fish oil, dhea, B complex, C also got a script for HGH but can't afford it right now
 
Sounds like your doctor has everything under control for you. Just remember to follow his protocol and follow through with his recommendations reference your PCT if you choose to come off? Best of luck to you and I wish you success
 
starting to get a little hold on my eating ......today for breakfast 2 cups oatmeal,5 boiled eggs just 2 egg yolks, cup of fresh fruit.....fruit for snack(I need some protein also)....lunch I had 10 oz lean beef and cup of fruit..... went with the family to monster truck show,didn't want to eat the food there so just drank water.....6 pm went to dinner at Vietnamese restaurant and had a large bowl of seafood soup that was very low sodium, probably 8 oz of mixed seafood with vegetables and a cup of rice noddles......need to get some protein for snacks and shakes....any suggestions?

hit the gym today for my 3rd workout since the start of my HRT last week....my diet is down about a 1000 cals a day since i started last week.....cut out all sugar and white carbs...still managed to gain 5 lbs(must be water retention lol) picked up a tub of synthya 6 protein pwder and a box of Nitro-tech protein bars for a snack....feels good to be back after 10 years
 
Your bodyfat looks much higher then 24percent

got my BF measured today at the gym they came up with 27% I was just guessing.....was a personal trainer back in the day and did plenty of body fat tests.....I was just wishing it was 24% lol....don't think I want to compete again just get healthy, I think around 12% is a reasonable goal around 205....I used to compete at 225 5% bf when I was 38.

you got that right....I remember that feeling like shit and I couldn't wait to chow down right after the show....no need of that now....first goal to drop under 20 % gonna take it nice and slow not to lose any muscle.....8 to 10 weeks to lose 20 lbs

well 5 days in to my new lifestyle and pyscologically feeling better knowing I'm going to get back in shape....did my first shot 100 iu of HCG today...went to the gym and had a nice little leg workout and 20 min cardio....will take the dog for a nice long walk tonite.....100 iu tommorrow HCG...doctor wants me to take it 5 th and 6th day after my gear
 
I must disgree with my esteemed colleagues. I think prescribing Deca is idiotic.

First of all, you're more than 24% bf, and not for nothing, even if it were lower, you're at a weight and age where blood pressure is an issue. And your doctor is prescribing something notorious for adding water weight? That's dumb IMO. Even the test dosage is too high. What kind of doctor was this? A real doctor? Or one of those anti aging clinic clowns?

Sorry. Let's be real.

Some people think it's great that a doc would prescribe gear but this is a bad call. You need to be on HRT dose of test, maybe some glucosamine,Voltaren and aspirin for joint pain and a diet.
 
Your joint problems are likely related to your wieght issues. Deca just seems like a bad choice given your goals. I am betting you are going through a clinic. Just saying...

thanks everyone for your concerns......my bloodpressure was fine before I started the therapy so I will monitor that closely.....1 am going to give this a run for 10 weeks and get my bloodwork done and take it from there.....actually my joint issue is from all the injuries I recieved from power lifting and heavy weight training I did when I was competing all while abusing every drug known to man....havent touch any juice or drugs in the past 12 years.....at least I can have sex now,lol!My friend has been using thisn doctor for 2 years now and went from 30% bf to 12% and feels better than ever he is 49 yars old and his bloodwork is on the money.....I respect your opinions and appreciate the support.....
 
6th day in and woke up well rested and with a little soreness,day off weight training cardio only....sticking with the diet which is actually a lifestyle change...100 iu HCG today
 
good luck to you. you used to be athletic in your younger years from what you said so you went off the past 10 years.. try and go back to your younger days of eating right and working out consistently.

i think that deca is overrated for joints.. a lot of it is getting good fats, and cutting out bad fats. good omega's found in cage free eggs, olive oil, avocado, salmon/salmon oil.. these are very important.. and staying away from joint killing foods.. most americans do not get enough good fats and get way way way too much bad fats.. the downside of deca is it will boost your appetite and along with the test that just isnt' what you need at your size so think about that.

good luck! hopefully in a year from now you will bump this thread with new pics.. i think you can easily change your entire body structure in a couple months if you really dedicate yourself to eating right and working out.

Hey boss, im subscribing. Make this thread last! Show everyone and yourself what you can accomplish over time! My suggestion is to really put some effort in your diet. Once you get the hang of it you'll be on your way to loosing that bf while your building some muscle. When will you have another round of labs?

did my 1cc shot of 200mg cyp this morning ,decided to do the deca only ever other week for now..... and hit the gym for a nice light chest and tri workout,also abs and 20 min of cardio.....besides feeling good that I'm back in the gym I feel the same as when I started......which is what I figured for only being 1 week in.My primary care physician scheduled me for a colonoscopy screening next Wednesday anyone been through that before?It doesn't sound fun.I need to be on a liquid diet the entire day before and next morning of the procedure.......
 
I had one, they gave me like a giant glass of castor oil few nights before...I believe they dont do this shit anymore...mine was while I was in the Navy, done at Balboa naval hospital. (wasnt done for traditional cancer check, but to complete a full upper/lower gi)
I swore that I would never ever do this again. My asshole was on extreme auto pilot, SEVERE shitting, sort of like dry heaves when vomiting, but my ass. My ass would heave so badly I would projectile vomit. I vowed that I would rather die instead of doing that ever again. Again, I know thats not how its done now, thank god!!
Only good part was that after 16 hours of auto pilot shitting, I didnt care if they stuck a shop vac up my ass...miserable.

sticking with my diet no matter what determined to lose this bodyfat! will get my next bloodwork done at the end of week 8.....not looking forward to the colonoscopy procedure.....
 
Sorry bro, I dont think its as traumatic as my story, seems life likes to add the extra to everything I do. LOL...You'll be good, is what it is....I think they give you a valium or something..

Damn dude that shit(literally) sounds fucking horrible! My wife has had two. It's gonna suck but the easiest part I think will be the tube in the butt part. Worse part is the shitting part. She had good luck with the pills instead of the big ole jug they give you. Good luck!

My joints are feeling really good on 100 mg a week of deca so I am going to drop it to 50 mg a week starting Thur,Also taking fish oil every day.I am into my 3rd week of my TRT and lifestyle change and have lost 3 lbs so far,down to 247. Hopefully to never see 250 again! Upped my cardio to 30 min a day this week.My stregnth has incresed slightly still doing higher reps on exercises, dont think I will ever powerlift again, just want to get in shape and feel better....got my carbs down to 200 grams a day and have good energy

yea, they give you some drug that causes short term amnesia so no recolection of the procedure--turning 45 sucked.:xeye:
 
everything went well with the colonoscopy, no pain and everything was fine......started my 4th week of HRT and feel good,no sides , diet good 350 gr protein ,150 gr carbs and 80 grams fat,will weigh in and body fat results on Thur. and post pics

Just updated my pictures after my 4th week ofb training and TRT.feeling much more energy and drive in the gym Im at 25% body fat and weighing 245. Next goal 235 at 22%.
 
fruits, veggies, fruits, veggies, veggies, veggies, and more veggies.. can't go wrong with GREEN.

reduce the meats (lean chicken/turkey only baked or boiled), dairy, sugars, fats (good fats like olive/fish oil are good)..

drink WATER and only WATER.

up your cardio to 1 hour EVERY day.

thats a blueprint but a great strategy to lose weight.. just depends on how bad you want it. zero cheat meals and cardio daily will get you there, if you skip out on the cardio and go to pizza hut and mcdonalds even 1 day out of the week it will set you back bigtime.. gotta commit 100% and change your lifestyle. again its about how bad you want it
people spend 4 hours a day watching march madness but they can't spend 1 hour going for a jog or walk. this is why our country is obese
 
Thanks Steve for your input....I am going to increase my cardio starting today, My eating has been spot on.....the only dairy I have is 1 greek yogurt post workout 120 cals 20gr carbs, Main sources of protein are chicken breast, lean ground turkey, fish and protein powder fat from 4 eggs post workout and olive oil I eat 1 meal 3 times a week of lean steak 8 to 10 ounces, 1 banana and 2 cups of sliced fruit a day, Greens 2 times a day. 1 sweet potatoe or cup of brown rice a day and 2 scoops of protein powder with water a day,
 
Easter Sunday start of my 8th week on TRT and lifestyle change, 236 lbs and 19 % bf.next goal 15% bf around 224 lbs.So far went from 256 30%bf to current stats in 7 weeks...will post new pics on Friday end of week 8,Going to run 4 weeks of beast starting at end of week along with Erase and cycle support.

Its hard to lose weight when eating fruit bro, unless its post workout. Fruit is loaded with many healthy minerals and vitamins... But it also high in sugar content. Fructose will turn to simple glucose and store as fat in the body... Eating fats post workout is a no no too....

Thanks Arabian itt would be easy to say I never should of let my self go like that but I am really glad to have Elite Fitness to give me drive and knowledge to get back in shape,thanks for the encouragement !
