started first day of 5x5

i just started yesterday and it seems pretty good but i was curious about how much i should increase the weight next time i do my 5x5's for a specific muscle, should i be lifting till muscle failure on the next two exercises after my 5x5's and should i be doing the sets back to back or resting between sets on the exercises after my 5x5's....?
thanks for the help

Rest between the sets. Up the weight 5 lbs. (10 lbs. for squats or deads in the beginning, if you wish) weekly. The 5x5 exercises are never to failure. The 2x8-10 can be, but I usually don't go that far. Shoot for 10. Hit it on both sets, up the weight. If not, stick with it.

But sooner or later, it has to be right? Since sooner or later, one is going to get to a weight that they can barely do 5x5 of. Know what i mean?

On the 2x8-10 exercises, I believe NS says that when you can do 10 easily move the weight up a little.

I take the 2x8-10's close to failure or right at it.
