Standing upright row's tri's or back/shoulders

Snatch pulls are low on the OL technique scale and pretty solid on the delts and traps. Similar to blut wump's suggestions, you can use quite a bit of weight and the back/traps were made for dynamic pulling. Overhead pressing, even using the snatch grip can be good. Overhead squats tends to really build a base of support on the shoulders.

If one was to go by bodyparts and days - any type of vertical pulling would fall on back.

It primarily hits traps and delts. It also puts a lot of strain on your rotator cuffs.

IMO the exercise carries more risk than potential benefit. I dropped it a long while ago.

agreed... I cant do them with any weight, KILLS my shoulders... i stick to movements that dont hurt!
