I am trying to sit lower into my squats and set my box up a couple inches below parallel.
I'm having problem getting there. It feels like a muscle on my left hip is really pulling when I try. It's annoying because I can squat without weight ATF with no irritation.
I guess it's a flexibility problem in that area? If so, is this a hip flexor (I thought they were more forward than that)? If not, what is it and suggestions for working on it.
I've been doing (don't know what they're called) a move where you lift your knee up high and then extend it back behind you and also sitting in a sumo dead position and pushing out against my knees to try and loosen up.
