SPONSOR B Fold at National Strongman!

As a lot of you know B Fold the Truth (aka Clint Darden) a fellow longtime EF member has won his spot to compete at the NATIONAL strongman competition in Saint Louis this October 5 - http://www.nastrongman.com/forms/nassstlouis.html

Bfold has been an excellent resource to all of us on the board with boundless info and experience with his Westside / strongman training techniques. Including his ‘innovative’ home gym setup! I’m sure a lot of you like me have found his work inspiring and helpful as I have.

Well, now it is time for us to show Bfold how much we appreciate him and his contribution to the EF board! In order to go to the nationals (and win!) he needs sponsors(read $$) to defray the cost of entering the contest as well as travel, lodging, food, etc.

To date, Clint has been unsuccessful in raising corporate sponsors (GEORGE!?). So I had the idea of running a ground swell sponsorship drive for Bfold. He needs to raise only $1K to cover the whole deal so I’m certain that if only a fraction of the folks on this board contribute $20 a piece he would get to his goal.

To boot, if this sponsorship is successful I will have a shirt made with all of the contributing EF usernames for Bfold to wear the day of the show!

I really do not know what to say. I honestly don't. Never expected this...not in my wildest dreams. This post just brings up a lot of emotion in me...kinda all at once.

Anyone who sends me anything...please attach your name to it. Please give me a way to thank you...for anything and everything. I also hope that a lot of you can make it to STL to watch me compete and give it all that I have...

In life there is only a handful of people that you meet, whether in person or via the internet, that are genuinely nice people.....Bfold is one of those rare individuals!! The money is sent!!

I checked my account last evening and a little over $500 has been raised so far. It is absolutely amazing to see so many people who believe in me on this board...it really does. I really do not know what to say.

yea man i def wanna, i was on yer list a while ago and u sent me some great info, and i love looking at your insipring pics, it would be a shame for you to be held back by something as stupid as money, maybe we can save enough up for a cycle for you, lol, then youll really be on espn in those metrx contests, def PM yer address,

$$ does keep me from competing a lot more. This contest is the most expensive...it is Nationals. I would like to have a big sponsor for around 5k per year and make 5-8 contests next year...and maybe a pro show or two... Need sponsors first...

Hey B fold hit me with your personal info I think I have a small present for you. It is more then twenty and half way to your sponsorship. I was talking to a freind of mine who runs a suppliment store in my area and he may be interested in making a considerable contribution to your cause. I have some cash I want to send you also I don't trust Paypal. I don't want to get your hopes up but he seemed kind of excited about it. Send me you personal info to [email protected].
