ya know what! be happy....yes you may not like that u had a humbling workout...but you are still working out...you are still busting your ass toward your goals....im happy if i can lift myself out of bed in the morning.....put things into perspective
we all have workouts like that, it sucks ass but the key is to not let it become a rut. I'm in one of those now, my strength sucks ass, but I am getting bigger, go figure
Just last week I was planning on running 3 x 400m and doing an agility workout.
After driving to the park I half-assed my way through my warm-up. My heart wasn't in it so I skipped my 400s, and then only did half of my agility drills at a poor pace and with bad form. This was followed by some half-assed stretching. I even forgot to bring water with me.
Sometimes our workouts just aren't meant to be. Write them off and move on with renewed vigour.
I've been there and done that more then once, sucky workouts are just a part of life. Just move on, next week you'll be back to moving your normal super human poundages.
