Queen Vashti=Beautiful Woman. Her insubordination to her husband cost her the crown. She owned King Xerxes by not wanting to be objectified and shown off to his huge ass party when he was wasted and the eunichs sent for her. He ended up killing her and now she's seen as a historical heroine of feminism.
The Bible is full of crazy drama. I love it.
I have my bible right in front of me and I am basically reading the basic story which was the inspiration for the movie.redsamurai said:^^^^yep^^^^^

No, no, no. You guys are acutually right. A lot of the book of Esther has a lot to do with King Xerxes and a bunch of freaky stuff. After looking it up I've learned that the whole thing is of course, a work of fiction with parts of it inspired by Biblical and historical events and people.redsamurai said:huh? Thermopylae is in the old testament?? THat is news to me..........+1 to you for that if that's the case, I stand corrected and will dutifully worship your cute feet as punishment........;-)
