Space Conserving Home Workouts

I live in an apartment and have hardly any room for equipment. Gyms in town are too expensive and I prefer to workout at home anyway. I would like to build a small bench just so I can do things like db presses, flyes, and the like. Does anyone know how I could build one or if there is any information somewhere on how to build a decent one? Thank you

If you have access to and knowledge to run a welder you can build gym quality equipment at less than 1/2 the price. I am in the process of building a home gym but I am lucky enough to have an entire basement to use so space isn't as great a concern as with your situation.

An adjustable bench along with spinlock dumbells is a great way to get a decent workout in without a ton of cash outlay.

Don't expect to grow to your potential with a basic setup like this but it's a good start.

How much room are you talking about taking up?

This would be a better alternative if you can spare the space.

Once you get serious about home gym equipment you can place an order with http://www.newyorkbarbells.com . Thier equipment is a little more expensive than the walmart stuff but it is serious equipment meant to be used as it should.
