something to speed up fat loss

Hey fellas. Im still 4-5 weeks out from my bulking cycle of dbol - sus - deca. Im currently doing cardio up to an hour a day 4-5 times a week.Im not fat by anyones standards but a bit of a crap diet and some bad habits have allowed me to be a little `un-cut` if you want lol.

Basically im not getting too scientific regarding diet in the meantime other than the fact i have several small low fat meals a day mainly fresh fruit and veg , low fat dairy products and wholegrain anything and everything. Also some lean chicken and lamb in sensible proportions. Im a man with a big appetite though and can EAT however thankfuly as i mentioned it doesnt show on my person.

What id like to know is what can be taken for these few weeks for a cardio / fat loss / cutting assistance ? Im not into ANYTHING that causes heart palpatations or such.Just a little something that would assist the hard work im doing right now and would strip the fat off like its going out of fashion ?? Anyone please ??? Ive heard of clen and or winstrol but as i said im not a big fan of my heart racing into overdrive.

Im 35 , 5`11 and 185 lbs.

SORRY but one final thing - could someone please explain to me exactly how fat is lost ? I.E., what in simple terms is a ``calorie deficit` and how can i calculate this to ensure im not busting my gut in the gym for nothing. On average my maintenance calories are around 3000 a day if this helps.

To give u a general idea, when i stand up and relax, u can see my belly, not big but its there and defo not the bodybulder athlete inspired look.

IM looking for a bodybuilder gut and stomach where u dont need to suck your belly in a little to look good - i hope u know what i mean.

I'v been down this road many times, first you need to cut carbs back a bit, get lots of protein, 1 gram for every pound of bodyweight, then 12 hr fast after the last meal, upon waking up then do cardio ,the body will burn fat for fuel after this tIme on an empty stomach, this will do a hatchet job on BF.

i dont understand your plans. why cut right before you bulk? i personally would plan out the diet for building purposes and start building. then run a cut cycle when you need to cut. steroids will help you a lot while cutting and at low doses. but the actual cutting is in diet assisted by cardio if needed. unless your trying to get in the low singles i wouldnt do any cardio because of the muscle loss that always comes with it.

to answer your question. clen and or t3 are both good for fat loss but study up because they can have bad sides.

fat is a nutrient reserve. so is muscle. when your body needs nutrients and there is not a fresh supply it will take from the fat and muscle. you can alter the ratios in this process but you cant completely stop the muscle loss. the amount of muscle you will lose depends on your body in several ways.

calorie deficit is when you consume less that your mantanence cals. calorie surplus is when you eat more.

there are several ways to calculate like everones favorite fitday.com but im sorry to say its nothing but a verry rough inaccurate estimate. you have to figure out your numbers by keeping an acurate log through time. we are all different. you will need to figure out on your own exactly just how much food you need to cut, build, ect.

Thankx gentleman, most helpful. Im aware that you cant technically cut and bulk or diet and bulk both at the same time. Therefore i thought it would be best to diet or cut and then build some nice mass onto a slimmer look frame. Some prefer it the other way round.

As Joe D mentioned, you need to keep track of your calories and log them for several weeks to determine what your specific calorie burn is. But as a starting point:

multiply your weight in pounds by 11: that's 2035cal/day for you which is an estimate of your basal metabolic rate (calorie burn if you didn't do anything strenuous). Since you're an active person, add another 50% to that number and you burn around 3,000cal/day.

In general, and especially if you're not using gear, you don't want to go below 80% of your daily calorie burn or you risk slowing your metabolism down and thwarting your fat loss efforts. 80% of 3,000 is 2,400cal/day; that's a deficit of 600cal/day.

One pound of body weight is approximately 3500 calories. So dropping your calorie intake by 500 per day will burn 1lb/week of body fat. Since you can reduce by 600cal/day you can drop 1.2lb/week.

In rough numbers, that's what you can do naturally. Anything faster than that and you need AAS to preserve your muscle while you lose weight. If you go into severe calorie restriction, you need T3 (thyroid hormone) to keep your metabolism up. However, I don't recommend this unless you're a competitive bodybuilder since T3 carries more risk than the AAS we typically deal with.
