That's not an actual retaining wall, that's just a block wall. You did it like a pussy.


We had to dig a 4 foot deep trench, 12 feetback and 100 feet long on side, 60 feet on the adjacent side. That long side was concrete that we had to remove 8 of those feet back, 90 feet long. It was a basketball court.

We had to internally frame the retaining wall with rebar, put up outer framing, pour that stuff, also embedding the fence post bases into it, put in a french drain, move all the crappy clay dirt out, bring in top soil to fill that giant hole, put in the posts and fence framing, measure and cut about 700 slats because the yard is on a slope, each has 9 screws holding it to the fence frame, so 6300 screws.

Then we installed a drip irrigation system.

Then we planted pine and aspen trees, flowers, small bushes, etc.

It was a full on excavation project. Not just lay a footing and stack blocks. We did it right like a boss.
