some progress pics

hi everyone,
i'm not ready to start a detailed journal like some of you ladies have, but i'd like to make this thread my personal progress thread where i post progress pics untill i get to my "after shots". i'm hoping posting progress pics will keep me motaviated and in the right track.

i'm posting the before shots that i took earlier on. these pics are 6 weeks apart. i will be updating this thread every so often so i guess it going to be my pics log journal. :artist:

Progress is obvious, especially on the buttocks region :evil:

So what have you been doing? Diet? Training? Spread the knowledge. That's incredible 6 week progress.

Congrats on your progress and thanks for posting your pics. These should be inspirational for many other women on this forum. Keep up the good work.

Also a really good example as to why progress pics are so important, even when you don't want to put on the 'kini and take pics.

as for diet, i can not say i've been sticking a specific plan. the first 2-3 weeks i was just experimenting with different ideas. i tried low carb, and after 2 days on it, i ditch it.......i felt so much better afterwords.lol
i've just been trying to implement alot of foods that people on this site have on their "diets"-fruits, veggies, pastas, peanut, fish, chicken, etc.
i also found that keeping fats high in at the earlier meals made me happier. i do really low carb towards the end of the day.
i tried the calorie counting thing and its definatly not for me. a guess would be i consume anywhere from 1200-1800 cals a day depending.

okay now for the traning. i've been doing AM cardio four-five day a week( anywhere from 15-45 min) and lifting in the evening. for the past 2 weeks i did two a day cardio. where i did another session usually 30 minutes after my lifting.

i haven't been to the gym almost 2 weeks though. i bought some equipment(dumbells, latex band things, mat, ect.) and have been workingout at home and i must say i like the convenience and privacy of it(no more ipod, just my good old stereo).

i had skinny arms before, but it was just bone and flesh and a little fat on them. i just remember flexing my arms at the mirror a few days ago and i was shocked to see the muscle poping up a little. got super excited and giddy. i still am!!!



i flex them every MORNING now!!! OMG disregard that comment, i think i'm going a bit muscle crazy! :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :p :p

you'll get there. i agree with Alcrataz you'll do it in no time. JUST KEEP DOING WHAT YOUR DOING! :)
 
Looking good, I know it is so frustrating dieting. I am currently getting ready for a show 5 weeks away and I want to be ready now. Don't we all :)

The great thing is you are making progress. Also you don't want to loose the fat too fast or you could actually be losing muscle as well.

thank you sessa. i don't mind the diet part so much because i don't feel like dieting....i've been letting myself have alittle bit of everything when i crave it and eat it in the earlier meals in my day, and i don't tell myself i'm dieting or i'll start to crave all kinds of not so good stuff....not good for my continued progress that is.

i don't think i have much muscle to begin with...infact i gained muscle thses past few weeks. refer to post #24!!! :)

lol....no secert here though, BUT i found out that Consistancy in my workouts a great help! when i have one of those days where i don't feel like workingout, i just tell myself to do only 10 minutes and by the end of the ten minutes i'm usually pumped and happy to do more!!!:chomp:

plus I always feel awsome afterr some exercise especially after a really intense session! its great!:)
