When you buy something in a store with your credit card they have you sign something right? They will match that signature with your application signature on file.

If you go to a store and they have a video camera, they could request the tape to see who it was who bought the item

2nd video cameras.. do you know how many people lose/steal cc's daily.. not to mention the peeps that make a living off of buying magnetic data online and encoding it to the back of their own cc's..

can you imagine how much time would be wasted if they pursued every single one of those cases by 'checking the video camera's'
