these were taken the day or day after the explosion. this is a oil refinery that had an explosion that left 15 people dead. the latest is that the company failed to upgrade a system within this unit that would have prevented this. the reason being was that the company probably did not want to spend the money. it is documented that former employess complained that no such system was in place. ofcourse this is only rumor right now.
it is against company policy to take photos within the facility, the person that reportedly took these pics actually worked for another refinery in the area, that responded to the incident to help. i say former because he was forced to resign after it was found out these pics were taken.
