I'm someone who has spent a shitload of time and money on his body and if any of you saw me walking down the street you would know it right away. In all likelihood, I outsize most who have posted on this thread and I try to dress attractively. I also spend some time looking in the mirror, both to crituque myself and to admire what I've done thus far. Yet somehow I managed not to take offense at this thread. I see exactly where BI is coming from. It seems that a lot of folks have taken it way too personally and overreacted.

i hate it when girls won't step out of the house without being perfect though, that really pisses me off. and when guys keep asking you if a shirt looks good or not. but its still better then ppl who don't care.

Y'see, this is why I tend to get on better with guys than with women ni the main - although my body is important to me I do not spend my entire life obsessing over my clothing, makeup and appearance. A LOT of non-BB women (read cardiobunnies) think of nothing else, however they do not have high opinions of themselves.

It's nice to get dressed up to go out, but not fun to feel you HAVE to.

I think Casavant is right here in that some people are slightly over reacting to this thread and are needlessly taking offence.I also like to look good too and try to take pride in my apperance but some people just carry it away too far.

well hey, if u are like that, and proud of it, and dont see this as bad or anything (even if other ppl think it is) then thats good! you are your own person, more power to you.

however, it sounds like a lot of ppl here are taking offense to this and i think thats because they match this category, know it, and feel ashamed of it for some reason.
i have no clue why they are doing it in the first place if they feel ashamed though.

I can assure you that I am nothing like what Burning was picturing in his initial post.
