chewing up pills makes them work faster. you also get more bang all at once. its lifespan is also shorter. this is why. when you swallow a pill it doesnt start to get into your blood stream until your stomach acids disolve it. even then it is all being obsorbed in one place. if you chew it up it is disolving in your mucous and starts being obsorbed as soon as you start chewing. this effect will take place for any pill but to what extent depends on the drug. i dont think its a good idea.
