Smoking weed and being successful in life

my friend just moved to oregon and he said the high is completely different he can function perfectly and not feel lazy or lethargic at all for hours .. off two nice hits of that shit.. different strains do diff shit i researched it when i was younger and i was gonna grow it.. it depends on the sativa/indica cross..

You have to keep in mind that a lot of people who do that were lazy, unmotivated and irrespobsible in the first place. Those kind of people give mary-j a bad reputation.

A lot of my buddies are just like your friend. However they have no sense of personal responsibility or desire to achieve in life. They also drink a lot and blow money going out all the time.

It's all a matter of how mature and responsible a person is. I smoke, make a tad more money than they do, but I also have a house paid off, 2 cars, lots of grown up toys, and money in the bank.

So i booked some flights for me and my brother to travel over xmas, so i told him he owed me $375 and he said he doesnt have the money. Guy is 27, no mortgage, no kids, no girlfriend , no car payments and has 3 roommates to share rent. And he has 2 jobs!
i know he smokes daily but good lord how much is he spending on that shit?!
is the motto once a pot smoker, a smoker for life? All of his buddies who smoke are in the same boat, broke but have no real expenses, and have jobs.
Are most chronic pot smokers in the same boat? I wonder if he will ever grow out of it

it doesn't make me lazy at all, I tell myself i can't smoke if I don't run or workout first, that type of thing actually makes me do MORE physical activity. Plus I run to prove to myself that my cardio system isn't fucked up.

I like weed for food because I can eat 2-3 plain chicken breasts when I am high and it tastes good, not high I get through one and I'm fucking sick of it and want to eat a bag of chips.

memory, it only affects shit i am told or learn WHILE i'm high, but I don't smoke before work or anything important ever.

I used to smoke everyday for the past 3 years and I quite about 3-4 months ago. I've notice a big change in myself. I am much happier finding things to do in my spare time such as wash and wax my car, throughougly clean my house, play golf, focus on my business ideas, and have meaningful conversation with friends. I used to smoke in my spare time and now i'm putting it to good use. I was all over the idea that weed isn't bad it should be legal and all that. now i see that it really does demotivate you. and i think of myself as a person with ambition but that ambition has been clouded for the years i spent smoking it away. On a side not, for three weeks after i quite i had the craziest fukin nightmares pretty much every night. really vivid and scary as hell. I would wake up and still see shit from my dreams inside my room. I knew it was all in my head but it was scarry as hell. I looked it up on the internet and it is a common occurence when everyday smokers quit. something about the chemical that causes dreams being surepressed when you smoke then when you quite it comes back very strong.

i smoke weed every day and i would say im pretty successful in life, successful enough that i drive a benz and can afford to spend $200+ on weed a week
