Small apartment in decent area vs. big apartment close to ghetto

OK, I made a verbal commitment to the new place and it is being reserved for me. I've scheduled a moving company to carry my furniture. My TV weighs 180 lbs and cost $1400. I want someone with insurance to carry it up the stairs. It's worth the $350 to hire some pros.

John, you definitely made the right choice for a buyer. Ghetto real estate is probably the only real estate that will decrease in value.
you made the best decision

when me and my bros were looking for palces, we really wanted a house, with a yard, etc.... We saw a few whithin our bidget, but all in fucked up places. Bottom line is that I want to be able to coem home feeling safe and not have to worry about my belongings inside the house, the neighbors being crackheads or my car parked outside the house. So we wound up going for an apartment in a better part of town.

Left on vacation for a few weeks, cars parked on the street, PC, flat screen ,TV, DVD and all that shit visible from the apartment windows with nothing but a thin screen keeping anyone from entering. Not once did I worry.

Go for the quality space at this point in your life.

I'd go for the nice area. Having trouble with your neighbours is hell on earth, believe me. Where I am is a fine apartment, but like alot of cities in England, there seems to be a problem with young teenagers hanging around making a nuisance of themselves. Then there are all the drunks making their way home from the Bars. A few people on our street have caused alot of problems too. Not saying that wouldn't happen in a nice area, but its less likely and I wouldn't mind moving.
