Sleeping problems!!!

I've noticed this week I can't fall asleep for shit, and I'm exhausted to when I try to go to bed. I've worked out hard this week, both cardio and lifting, and I fully expected to fall right asleep when I hit my bed, but I just lay there for a minimun of 2 hours and toss and turn and think and it really blows!!!

What do you folks do when you can't slept, but want to badly?

P.S. I haven't even started my clen yet, that comes into play on monday, it's gonna be so much worse!!!
 
Word word, I've also noticed that smoking the reefer keeps me up before bedtime, instead of knocking me the fuck out!!!
 
Try some tylenol PM. It knocks me out, but it makes me groggy in the morning. Also, how many hours before you go to sleep do you work out? If you are doing cardio before bed than your heart rate can still be high and it may prevent you from falling asleep.

Definitely, it raises your heart rate and blood pressure. I find that if I lay off the smoking a few hours before bed I get much better rest with more vivid dreams. When I quit smoking for a little while a couple months back once I fell asleep I got a much better nights rest.
 
Flexy, I have been at the gym some nights till almost 11PM. I guess that has something to do with it. It just sucks cause I'm so physically tired but can't fall asleep. I can't go the Tylonal PM route, I have enough trouble getting up in the morning as it is!!!

Hansel, I smoke usually right when I get home from the gym, cause my muscles and tendons are usually tight as hell and I wanna relax. I guess I've found my answer!!!
 
If I do cardio after 7 PM I can`t sleep at night. 10PM would kill me
 
I haven't been able to sleep much either. I'm exhausted, but when I get to bed i just lay there wide awake. Once I do fall asleep I start waking up every 30 minutes all night long. It's really pissing me off. This has been going on for about 1.5 weeks now. For a long time going to the gym was the only thing that allowed me to fall asleep at night... now that's not even helping.
 
It is the stress you are putting on yourself that late in the day that is doing it.
 
Other than taking some ambien or elavil, the other thing I found that helps me is a Jack and Coke.

Sucks don't it!!!

I did legs and cardio yesterday, finished at about 3:45 PM. Went to BBQ for a couple hours, came home smoked a blunt and watched "Old School" and at 9:30 I hit my bed and was unconscious!!! Damn, it felt so good!!! I'd say that was the first time I fell right asleep in 1.5 weeks!!

Lat, I love that Jack and Coke trick...done it many times, but unfortunatly I've quit drinking...and it fucking sucks:bawling:
 
Just have your boyfriend give you a back rub right before bedtime. That may help you fall asleep faster.
