Simple ways to keep gains post cycle

Here are some techniques that help one keep gains post cycle.
NOTE:
A man should be able to keep all his actual muscle mass gained post cycle up until he reaches his natural maximum weight, or the weight he could get to without steroids(fairly lean) Sure you loose weight but unless you are above your natural max then this weight loss should only be water and intracelluar glycogen....you should loose no strength and little to no muscle but ONLY if proper recovery techniques are used.

Once one pushes past natural max it becomes harder and harder
to maintain gains,and strength of course. The body wants to return to its natural max. One can maintain some gains above natural max while "off" since steroid use actually grows new muscle cells to some degree,and not only causes hypertrophy of existing cells.

If you are on a cycle of 8 weeks or longer then I recommend H C G use. It isn't absolutely necessary but it does help. You see ones testes will shrink to some degree even in six weeks if a cycle is inhibitory.(doesn't take that much juice) If you get the boys up to 100% size,or prevent shrinkage in the first place,then they are much more able to respond to LH from the pituitary. Testosterone production will return faster and thus gains are kept.

You can use H C G in two ways. You can use it mid cycle for a couple of weeks in order to prevent testes shrinkage AND OR you can can use it during the last two weeks of a cycle and before clomid to bring them up to snuff. Some men use it while on clomid but this is tricky since H C G use can easily be inhibitory on its own.
One needs to use small doses daily for two weeks at a time at 500iu's per day. Do not take H C G for longer than three weeks,and at larger doses,as it will desensitize the testes to LH.

H C G can cause gyno since estrogen levels also increase with its use. Estrogen inhibitors will not work in this situation since the estrogen is being produced at the testes without the use of conversion enzyme. So you better take 20 of tamoxifen while on H C G.

Clomid therapy is very important post cycle. It acts by blocking estrogen receptors at the hypothalamus and pituitary and this is usually enough to increase LH release as long as androgen levels are not too high.
Before using clomid you must be sure how long the steroids you have used stay active in the body. Take the clomid when the steroid or testosterone is almost clear of the system. For test cyp or enanthate this means two weeks after the last shot and for deca and sust it means three weeks and for boldenone it means about 18 days.... the list goes on.......

Clomid should be taken in a loading dose on day one at 300mg in divided doses. Taking it with food helps a little with absorbtion. From then onward you take 50mg per day for at least three weeks and four weeks minimum if using nandrolone. In fact keep taking it until you have no trouble "raising wood" and maintaining it. Some guys will even use 100 mg/day during the first week after the loading dose.

Nandrolone is a decent anabolic and very mild in many ways BUT it is extremely inhibitory. Now tren and test,or any roid in large enough doses,will shut one down very rapidly but nandrolone shuts one down LONGER. There is evidence out there that suggests that nandrolone shuts one down at the level of the testes more than any other roid. Bill Llewellyn hopes to soon put
out a study that confirms this. So if you take nandrolone be sure to use clomid a long time.

I would sadly have to say that the majority of steroid users do not have a clue how to train while off the juice or "naturally" Many guys continue to hammer away with a volume and frequncy of training that is too high while "off" post cycle....they then over train and loose gains. You must cut volume and training frequncy
and intensity while "off". I recommend cutting volume in half unless you are already a very low volume trainee. If that is the case then you need to cut intensity a little. Training frequency should ideally be cut to no more than 4 days per week too ,although some guys can get away with more days. An ideal split is a three way split training every other day or even every other day with the weekends off. Tyhis is hitting every muscle group directly every 6-7 days.
One also needs more sleep while "off" so be sure to get an extra hour per night.

There you have it bro's...simple but effective ways to keep your gains while "off" Hope this helps someone.

Another method for keeping gains post cycle is to use a small oral dose of a non-aromatizing AAS each morning for a few weeks or so after your cycle. Works nicely as a anti-catabolic while your HPTA comes back to normal. The mornings only dosing method allows bascially all of the drug to be used by bedtime which is when LH levels naturally will start to rise normally. Read about this method several months ago and tried it on the cycle i finished 3 weeks ago and i havent lost a pound of my muscular bw gains. This rarely happens with women.

The problem with creatine is that gains from it always go away when you come off the stuff.........but it may help...i have never had good luck with the stuff and i think it is too expensive with too little bang for the buck.

I think the gains from creatine are mostly water.

This has been done with some success by Bill Roberts and trainees but it isn't 100% fool proof or totally proven. I would be careful with this. It is worth a try though. But I wouldn't use more thn 20 of d-bol in the am.

Not 100% fool proof? What is? Just try it on you next cycle. You wont sound so uncertain about it anymore. 20mg of d-bol is too high, 10mg ED of a non-aromatizing AAS like Primo or Winny work best for this.

I agree with the creatine stuff, once you come off it wham!!! Your gains are gone, probaly becasue most is water anyway, but it should help to solidify your gains from the juice!

When I took my creatine post cycle I gained a little bit of weight and strength whch soon left when I stopped taking it. Same thing happens everytime I take it, strength and mass increase but very little of it is kept. I like the eca post cycle to.

I don't take protein powder now, but will post cycle. I will try at least 100 more grams than I take in now, and I'm cutting. Last time my post cycle regimine wasn't as strict(kept gains anyway), but this time I probaly will be closer to my natural limit and will be careful to "trick" my body into wanting to keep my gains and hopefully a 6-7% bodyfat level!

The way my current fina cycle is going this is going to be the best summer I ever had. I don't even think I will be seen with a shirt. I plan on 12 weeker so that takes me all the way to the end of summer. I think since I'm going so long on fina my clomid will run for 4 weeks and calories will remain high for 5-6. I'm keeping my dam gains!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
