Simple ways to keep gains post cycle

I have had problems keeping gains post cycle - with HCG and Clomid, and was thinking of using a small morning dose of an oral AAS like magdelana suggested but I'm not convinced that even small doses don't suppress the HPTA. Also, would this be before/during/after clomid therapy? I just wouldn't want this to lead into a bridge.
 
Another point that was not mentioned is PREPARATION. One will need to prepare themselves mentally for post cycle. The body will be at extremely low levels of test, which can result in tiredness, lack of sex drive, depression, etc. It will effect everyone different so preparation is a must.
 
I am glad to see you mentioned adjusting the training volume. I practically preach this. I have seen too many people keep lifting as long, as heavy, and as often as when juicing. They do loose a lot of mass because the body is being over-trained, not to mention the high catabolic state a person is in post cycle. Good post bro.
 
Morning Orals Post Cycle

Regarding using orals in the morn only post cycle, very small doses of primo or winny (like mag said) can work OR:

1) high doses of D-bol (50mg) w/Armidex
2) Halo (which was shown to have no effect on LH)
3) 4-AD (Androsol or 4-AD-EC)

This is from T-mag (obviously). I'm gonna try halo for a week then switch to androsol (which works for me) after my upcoming cycle, I'll let everyone know how it goes. Regarding lowering training volume, I agree this is essential, but I believe it's is best to use heavy weight (80% of your 1RM while on, was Bill's suggestion) to preseve your new muscle and boost test.
 
Good post. I think it is also extremely important to point out that your post cycle diet is just as important as everything else Realgains covered. I always keep my calories, especially from protein high when coming off cycle. The first few weeks after coming off I eat just as much food as when I was on if not more. I personally cut cardio completely but if you must do it I would limit yourself to 2 or 3 light sessions (20 min) per week. It is easy to lose motivation and not make it to the gym and not eat clean because at this point your intensity has probably been zapped but you have to maintain focus. To me this is the most important part of the cycle. If you don't take the proper steps to come off properly why cycle at all.

I forgot about the diet and cardio thing...good points!:)
 
Why hasn't anyone mentioned clen .. its thermogenic effects allow you to keep eating a lot without getting fat, and its anticatabolic effects allow you to prevent some cataolism! I recommend clenbuterol post cycle in a 2 week on/2 week off approach with an ECA stack. Begin before you finisn your cycle!

After i finished my last cycle, i ran clomid for 4 days (300,100,100,100) before i had a nervous breakdown and had so stop all drugs (stimulant induced). Anyway, my nuts were bangin at full force and swoll as fuck. My workouts the past week have been great. REally intense. Shit, i feel better now than before i even started a cycle. Maybe my natural test was bogged down before i did a cycle and now its higher? I dont know, but i feel like pumpin all the time, kinda like im on cycle now!

How long does it take before nat test gets back to normal when coming off cycle?

bigrand, how long was your cycle? Generally the longer the cycle the longer the time to have endogenous T back at normal levels.

Some good points about diet mentioned. For protein, i actually eat even more of it during the 4 weeks after cycle as when i was on and i reduce training intensity a bit. Your body cannot use protein quite so efficiently off cycle as on so it seems like a good idea to increase protein during this time that your T levels are so low.

Also someone asked about when to do the morning oral dosing, during clomid dosing or not. I am a woman so clomiphene citrate does not do anything for my T levels but my brother used the clomid during the a.m. oral dosing and had great results.
