Shy Guy seeks advice

Hi to all you players and love gurus out there, I need advice on approaching and chatting up women I like.

I'm not a naturally shy guy. I can talk to males with no problems. However, whenever a female's about, i tend to get nervous and speak not very clearly.

For instance, I was out the other day, saw this hot chick. She looked at me and smiled. Basically, I was in there. All i needed to do was to approach her and make convo.

However, that is the hardest part for me. How do you initiate conversation and appear not desperate.

By doing it a bunch of times, fucking it up, then getting comfortable with the whole thing. You will screw things up a bunch of times till you get the hang of it. Think of it as practice.
 
Graet advice! Just do it...we don't care if you mess it up lol..chances are that we are really nervous too! i love shy guys!
 
I completely agree, just be yourself
the worst thing she can do is turn you down.
Nothing wrong with a shy guy,

I posted the same thing to a guy the other day that was looking for advice...
Say hello...be honest with what you say....don't make your compliments sound canned.
If she wanted to talk to you then she will be open to speaking with you as soon as you say hello.....after that it is all chemistry.

i love how girls u talk to will act like they are so nice and pretend its ok, but unless they are attracted to u they will treat u liek complete and total shit.



im completely shy around new guys and girls alike, but once im comfortable with them reguardless of sex i dont care.

but i still get no sex

LOL.This is the type of shit that frustrates me:

I walk into Blockbuster and this really cute little blonde working behind the counter starts flirting with me telling me how hot I looked.I get a little embarrased,but am definitely flattered to say the least.I get up to the counter after making my rounds,and she's still going on,saying she thinks I look like a model,my hair looks dope,yada yada yada.So I hand her my number and say,"if you'd ever like to talk or go out,call me."
You should have seen the look on her face.It was almost like she was offended.She totally clammed up at that point and flipped a 180.WTF?Maybe she had a BF or something,who knows.But I've noticed I get a lot of chicken-shit women like that who are REAL forward until I show I'm interested,then they get all scared and act like they never meant their initial behavior.Do these gals even realize how hard it is for some (shy) guys to take that step and reach out to them to try(and get together)?If you're going to be that forward and tell a guy how sexy you think he is,then don't wuss out when he wants to meet you half way.

Frustrating sometimes.

that does sound frustrating.

i personally wouldnt know though...sometimes ill be talking to a girl and shell be like "who the hell are u get away from me" or "shut up weirdo" and then ill hand her my number and run away
 
Honestly, I think it's better to just buck and and give it a try. Worst case scenario she's not interested but isn't that better than sitting there a week later being pissed at yourself for not saying anything at all?

I agree about being yourself too. It took my husband a couple of months to get up the guts to ask me out and he got a "maybe". He's shy but he's certainly himself. :)

I agree. Even if she sais no, its better then pounding your head with what if's...
 
I never dated or anything, my bro says not to (too much BS) he's been with multiple girls but they all turned out chrome, me and my bro are all 100% down to earth, all those girls are prisses.

Tell her you've got a puppy in your trunk and ask if she'd like to come outside and see it...oh wait, that only works for 10 and under...
 
maybe trick her into coming up to you like carry a tic tac container and spill them and see if she comes to help you pick them up? act lost and ask her for directions? or maybe, if you can get up the nerve, compliment her hair or car. oooh, i know, borrow a puppy and take it for a walk. girls will come up to you for sure

if the lady is smiling at you and making eye contact she probably is already interested so get some balls and go up to her.
