Shoulders getting weak?

New member
Ive been growing a lot lately due to AAS. And I noticied part of my shoulder has been getting weak (hurting a lot). And I think that I read somewhere I needed to work the smaller muscles also. Its hard to explain but it hurts real bad when im like lifting my barbell out of the rack when im benching but then fine throughout the rest of the movement. Maybe I need to work on my stabilizers or something? I just dont to really hurt something and I think I will eventually if I dont figure out the problem

Thats a weird one. What part of the three parts of your shoulder is it. Front. middle or rear?

Sounds like he (like me) is screwed in the rotator cuffish area...

Look up rotator cuff exercises...

It might be tendonitis (spelling) I just went to my doc three days ago for the same kind of pain and he said that's what it probably is..We as lifters work our muscles and never really give them the proiper care that is needed. Ice and rest buddy. Now I don't know if this is what you have. You won't know until you seek medical advice...but good luck with this and if you can take a few weeks off..oh you can't because your on right now right?

I would suggest 2 advil for the inflamation and 2 aspirin for the pain.

Peace.

Find where your collar bone joins into your shoulder, there should be a slight bump where the bone ends, on the top part of the shoulder. Give that joint a good press, (called the ac joint). If it hurts like hell to press on it, it's bursitis, inflimation of the bursa sac underneath that joint. I hurt my shoulder benching once and I really couldn't localize the pain until I went to a sports doc and he pressed that particular spot and I thought that I was going to shit myself. Anyway, if that's the case, just ice the joint 15 min. on and 15 min. off, along with an anti inflamitory. Lay of bench pressing to, it's hard on the shoulder. I just do dumbell presses now with good gains and I never have a problem with the shoulder anymore. Hope this helps.
