Shoulder pain

Started 5x5 program today and had a pinch in the front if my shoulder when on the downward part of flat Bench

And had a slight pain in my back when squating

Haven't lifted in a while and just wondering if it is anything to worry a out or if there's any remedies
 
Shoulder pain is the story of my life bro. If u haven't lifted in awhile, 5x5 is not the program to start with. Start light and high reps first week, move up next week. After 3-4 weeks try the 5x5 again. Also remember to properly warm up ur shoulders by light stretching and warm up sets.

If its a sharp continual pain, see a doc.

Yes the loads should be very light to start.

Do you feel your form is solid? When benching I try and squeeze my shoulder blades together and eccentrically "row" the weight to my chest...makes it much easier on the shoulder.

Where in the back was your pain when squatting?
