Ephedrine?? I 've thought it was a good post cycle supp to get the natural test levels up. Is it really sexually harmful?

I don't know for sure, but seems like I've got somthing stored up in my ol' noggin' about ephedrine lowering sex drive. However, this has nothing to do with lowering testosterone levels. Ephedrine will not lower test levels. Testosterone does not directly cause a sex drive.

Clomid is a derivitive of a female hormone. It will elicit some effects of estrogen such as breast discomfort and emotionality... just like high estrogen levels will in men and women.

But now whenever he needs to get it up he takes HCG.

Excess use of HCG can cause the leydig cells of the testicles (the cells responsible for making testosterone) reliant on HCG for gonadal stimulation and release of gonadotropin will cease (or at least be impaired) preventing release of FSH and LH which will not only complicate his problem, but will cause him to become infertile and have extremely low ejaculatory volume.

Hey Stew, I've heard this said before, but have never seen any proof, i.e. studies, trials, etc... Is this just speculation, or are there any documented examples of excessive HCG use causing reliance by the leydig cells?

Any other ideas? Diet has remained constant with lots of protein and adequate fat and carbs. I supplement with a B-complex vitamin, multivitamin, and folic acid.
I began incorporating Saw Palmetto extract when using Ripped Fuel and Hydroxycut--I've been using ephedrine products for years with no side effects--about 2 months ago.
Is it possible that it's depression related--coming off?

As others have said, it's most likely the saw palmetto extract.

Did the same cycle sust500 for 8 wks.
If i started my clomid earlier than 3 wks after last injection is that gonna be a big prob in getting my natural test back? Started 2 wks after injection and its been 3 1/2 wks now.. still feeling good <-- is that becuz the sust is still in my system??
