Sexual side effects of Clomid?

hooch, yeah you're right, I gave up too soon. It was just that I felt like crying if my shoelace came undone, let alone the fact that I'm 22 years old and can't get a hard on. Time to bust out the Kleenex I guess.

I think 50 mg a day is more than enough for clomid. I don't understand why people use 300 to 100 mg per day. Is there any research that states more is better?

I had the same experience, Quadcam -- depressed, emotional (really weepy), and sexually a zero. I think the Clomid definitely creates the emotionality but I think the depression and sexual plunge are results of coming off testosterone, which were FAR MORE mood-elevating and aphrodisiacal than I expected. I really felt "less in my body," if that makes sense, when i came off the test.

I did Clomid for a month and was SO GLAD when I was done with it.

Give it time, man. IT will pass.

Dosses of 400mg/day are used for months at a time to stimulate sperm count in infertile men... The dosses that I recomend are VERY mild and higher dosses could be taken, but one would have to battle with side effects. At these extremely low dosses of clomid, there is virtually no side effects outside of "female mood dysfunction."

BTW, I seem to remember ephedrine causing sexual problems...

Ephedrine?? I 've thought it was a good post cycle supp to get the natural test levels up. Is it really sexually harmful?

I felt weepy when on Clomid too, but it got better as I kept taking it. I would get back on the Clomid 100mg/day for 1st week and 50mg/day 2nd week. If you got Proviron or Nolvadex take it ASAP. It will only help. Also if you HCG that will give you boner for sure within 2hrs of time of injection.
I know a guy that has been doing juice for 14 years straight! Yes straight no stopping, finish one go do another cycle. Anyway his situation was so bad that even with Viagra he could not get solid boner. I told he should take a break from juice (more like a long vacation) and do some HCG/Clomid.
Anyway when I saw him he was so happy and thanking for doing HCG. He said it gave him a boner right away like never before
Of course he got back on the juice. But now whenever he needs to get it up he takes HCG.
