ok bros, i have been feeling bad lately so i went to the doctor today. she said she thought i may have plurassey(guess on spelling). well any way they gave me two shots one for inflamation and one was a steroid, not sure the name of med used. my question is should i continue on my cycle today this being thursday i usually take 250 test e and 200 eq along with 30 mg dbol. thinking maybe wait till tomorrow with injections but what about the dbol?
next time ill ask the nurse to let me give myself a shot, that  stabbed me like she was throwing a dart!

Did you tell the doc that you were supplementing with AAS and if not why? If and when I am feeling a little under the weather I just pound the shit out of water and Vitamin C. I don't need a damn doc to tell me I'm sick. Anyway besides that when I do go it's usually something pretty dramatic but I ALWAYS tell the doc about what I am taking.

I have always stood by this opinion that the doc cannot correctly diagnose the problem if he/she doesn't know what I have been taking that could directly affect me getting there. Prepare for a spoon full of shit on why you shouldn't be taking but they will still give you good advice on how to stay healthy. As far as taking your next inj I don't know. That's a decision that only you should make. I would , this is only my opinion, give a few days before knocking some more AAS on top of what they just shot into you, (could have serious complications since you don't know what it was). Hope this helps.

Pleurisy can be fairly serious and is usually associated with something else.
It is an inflammation arising from the lung tissue lining within the chest wall and is usually caused from an injury or growth or from some disease-pneumonia, TB, or tumor; almost anything wrong in the chest that would inflame the lining.

AAS lower your immune system somewhat so if the etiology is infectious, I would stop the cycle because it could cause the infection to spread. That's why it's important to know if the other shot they gave you was antibiotics. However, if you are SURE that they gave you a shot of steroids, (this would be corticosteroids) then they must not be thinking its infectious at all and it might be okay to continue. I would not recommend it, however. The safest thing to do at this point would be to consider this cycle finished and start PCT and wait until this lung problem has cleared up before you resume.

Nicely said...................that being done, find out what they injected you with, and you should've asked your doc how serious the situation is and what is the remedy.......................If its not that bad i would half the dose you are taking until you start feeling better

All the best bro, i hope everything turns out ok

the Z pack is Zithromyocin and is a super dosage 5 day treatment.

Stop your cycle, start PCT and focus on getting better. There will alway s be time for another cycle if you are still alive.

Or this could work too, i completely agree with this bro

How long were you on your cycle before you started feeling sick?

The steroid injected was a corticosteroid, not an anabolic steroid. You probably got methylprednisolone. It is an extremely potent anti-inflammatory often used to treat pulmonary conditions.

Hey Dig:

On your behalf I called the best source I know my father, he is a doc and has been for many years with numerous medical publications BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. I am also a test user for life and will always be due to my conduct many years ago.

In all fairness I read the posts above to him and he laughed and made the comment that there has to be a medical degree in there somewhere. I have for years tried to explain to him that many Body Builders etc. are extremely knowledgeable and well read on the subject and maybe for the first time he realizes that the game has changed since I was young. However, and I am sure and everyone would have to aggree that if your doc does not know all the facts, you are playing a very dangerous game. Anyway after the usualy 30 min lecture and he is cool, his answer was simple stop everything unles the doctor who's care you are under has been advised. You can always cycle again when this blows over.

Trust me I got off easy, you might not be so lucky.

If it is any consulation todo hit one the nose, the problem is what caused it?

My .02

thanks a ton bro! do you think i will need pct only 2 wks in?

Sorry for the delay hold that thought, I am calling in the question as we speak. Although I believe that your questons have been answered above I will ask for a confirmation on pct and effects in your situation. Also, I did not ask the likelyhood of this being serious and how common it is what are the odds etc. and what are the chances your cycle played a role in it. Give me 15 min 5 to get yelled at for calling this late and 10 to get answers

Todo hits it again, if they did not give you antibiotocs the chance of it being infectious are slim and in fact a pretty gutsy call without a CT or drawing a sample of the fluid and testing unless he was very comfortable. Plus the steriods could be used as an anti-inflamatory.

This is common ailment and doctors who see it can make a pretty good diagnosis with routine tests like they would when checking the severity of a bad flu rearding fluid buildup in your lungs, and your doc must be very comfortable if he did not order CT, to see how much fuild etc. He most likely listened to your lungs from every angle.

Chance due to your doctors reaction that this is serious are slim and you should be up and fine in a few days to a week as you were told.

However, here is the catch, many times this is caused buy infections etc. but it can also be caused by reactions to medications. In fact this is likely due to fact that the doc did not give you antbiotics or ordering further testing.

So the diagnosis of the board stands, consider this cycle over, start pct, and check back in one week and tell todo how you are doing. Don't fuck with this it is not worth it.

yea what he said,
I go get 'steriod' injects all the time because my joints get so sore, they'll even give *prednisolone for allergies.

I aslo agree that you should tell your Doc everything. It was a little hard to do but it's for your own good. And if he can't handle the truth find one that can. (mmm, same with women, lol)
