I'm a male, 22, 6'1" 250 lbs with hypertension since I was a young kid. I just started taking care of it now by taking norvasc 10mg daily. I'm probably near 35% body fat and need serious help to get my weight down. An EKG showed that my heart is working very hard and getting larger. This concerns me because I can't take any supplements like NYC, Stack, or anything else that will raise my blood pressure or put pressure on my heart.
In the mornings I take Norvasc, Finasteride (i'm growing blad too), Multi Vitamin, Vitamin C 500mg, and Ginko Biloba. I plan to walk/jog for 30 minutes in the mornings 3 times a week and lift medium/heavy weights 3 times a week.
Diet:
I'll be mostly eating eggs, tuna, chicken, cassinated protein powder and egg protein powder. I have read about Atkins and CKD. Things in my diet that are tough to avoid are rice (I'm asian), pitas, and coffee but I'll try my best to avoid them.
Please help me out and give me some ideas on how I can lose the weight and avoid the health risks.
