If you order from a web site bro, you are better off making a wish for the gear you want and then flushing the cash down the shitter. All web sites are for is to scam people out of their hard earned money. Think about it, if you found the site, the feds could find the site and if they were legit, BAM, they would get shut down. Now there have been a few sites that would actually send you the first order you make, since it is generally a small test order, but once they build your confidence up and you send for a larger order, they just happen to go out of business and you never see your gear or money again. DEFINATELY DO NOT ORDER FROM A WEB SITE! That is the biggest NEWBIE mistake you can make.

I use Western Union on some of my internationals and never had a problem. Also have used a credit card with good results. Never attempted Mexico...good luck!

anyone use online western union?? I did today, and to 'finalize' my first transaction, i had to call up and provide some extra info. Is this normal?

When sending money thru Western Union, try breaking up the total amount you need to spend into increments under $1000. That way, you can send money WITHOUT having to show ID.

So if you need to send $2,500----

1st send one payment of $900
then send another payment of $900
then send a final payment of $700

Almost all sources use Western Union.
Best to pay cash to WU, not with credit card.
There is a debate about giving real names, some prefer it, some dont.
Anyway you have to give your real address!

How many guys use their real names? I live in a small town and people know me so I can't put a bogus name or they will think something is up.
Also how many of you think the risks of ordering domestic are far less than over seas? I'm thinking domestic is the way but is it also easier to hold you accountable?

I use my real name. I don't think it matters.

I drive to a totally different town and send it via a fake name. I have never been asked to give out an ID either (which is the norm). I wouldn't use my real name. Why bother taking the risk?
