Self-Surgery, Anyone????

Just curious who here has taken a knife to themselves to remove any strange growths, etc...

Save some serious cash that way, me thinks...

I had a big nasty calluse (sp?) on the bottom of my foot. So I took a knife and picked at it and cut it out.

I removed a plantars wart from my foot with an exacto knife before.

Been there. I've dug something out of my leg as a teen (bb sized "rock" probably from ingrown hair). I've removed little polyp-like things from my upper body. Just clipped 'em off and they bleed like crazy. And, as a teen again, I removed warts with clippers. Just keep digging deeper and deeper. They would grow back a couple times and then vanish. What fun!

one time i had dropeed a pile of firewood on my big toe in the rain accidentally. The toe filled up with blood and was swollen badly. You could see all the blood under the toenail, so i got out my dad's electric drill, and drilled a hole right in the middle of it to relieve the pressure. Blood went squirting everywhere while the drill was whizzing away. I was the best feeling ever, the pain of the swelling went away. The toenail eventually fell off, and i grew a new one.

I took a pair of chicken bone scissors and cut off strange stuff that was growing under my arms and behind my knees.

I killed the pain first with Orabase.

When I was 18 I dug a wart out with a eyebrow plucker and dental floss. Needles to say it grew back 1cm from where it was previously. What a pain in the ass

what i did

i lanced a boil on my hip once.....drained like a 1/4 cup of blood and pus......it was pretty awesome.....and i get ingrown hairs on my neck like crazy....one time i knew i had one real deep....you get these red, stiff lumps on your neck....well, i got out the surgical scissors, a scalpal, and some tweezers (my dad is a physician).....i had to cut the hell out of myself...but when i was done, i extracted a hair well over three inches long that had just kept curling and spiraling under the skin....the hole was so big that dad had to put a couple stitches in it.....and the blood...hair follicles must be vascular as hell...it looked like i had slaughtered a badger in the bathroom.....
