and you can't measure how the Steelers would react if they HAD all those calls go against them. Maybe they'd get pissed off, like they wer against Denver, Indianapolis and Cincinnati?

Keep in mind, PGH rode that "we're the underdogs, everyone is against us" tide to dominating performances against the 3 top seeds in the AFC. Who's to say that they wouldn't have done the same if the refs had been against them?

Oh yeah, forgot another bad call by the refs AGAINST PGH. The pass that was fumbled, but was ruled a "drop"

So Seattle got 4 questionable calls against them, PGH got 3 against them. I'm sorry if you don't like reality, but that IS reality.

Fix the defense. Sure, did great most of the day, but

1) How you gonna give up a 75 yard run from scrimmage? Parker didn't even cut back, he just ran, practically untouched, the whole damn way

2) How you gonna leave Hines Ward wide open on 3rd and 28? It's a passing down, right? Hines Ward? Multiple Pro-Bowl selections? Led Steelers in receptions yard, receiptions, and TD receptions every season for the last half decade? Perhaps you've heard of him? Maybe cover him on 3rd and 28, what do you say?

I didn't read this thread but I will just say Seattle got fucked. That's not to say that the Steelers wouldn't have won anyway......they may have. Worst post season officiating that I can remember. Season is over and the Browns are undefeated..........isn't that all that matters?

ordinarily I would have been pulling for pittsburgh
but I thought seattle was going to win for various reasons
and really the game went as I figured
seattle won the line of scrimmage battle on both sides of the ball
holmgren had excellent play calls
etc,etc
too many dropped passes,bad officiating and a couple of Pitt big plays
play this game 10 times and seattle wins six

I didn't know EF had some kind of braille option on the site for the blind. Some of you can actually say the Steelers weren't getting special treatment out there on the field? Seattle got screwed when it came to the calls. I can admit that, and I even bet all my karma on the Steelers.
