I was comming home from the shore last night on the parkway at 1:30am and I saw some nasty accident. There was an old school s-10 flipped over the divider with the front end crushed and resting on the divider itself and the bed on the street with gas pouring all over itself. The thing was so mangled all the windows were blown out. This was in the left lane , we stoped maybe 15 feet in front of the thing which was pretty close considering we were doing 85 the whole time.
It was a miracle the guy survived. He was hanging out on the side of the road with only a cut to his arm. The whole cab was crushed he mustve slid out through the back window.
The weird thing is he wasnt in the northbound side. He was in the southbound in the slow lane. he mustve fell asleep and made a sharp left turn to cut across the highway, hit the divider and then flip and land on the other side. He's lucky this happened then and not a few hours earlier when there was traffic. The minute he landed on the other side someone wouldve rammed him.
