The city (SF) is worth the trip. I have a good friend there. What kind of stuff you looking for?
meh, just see the sights i guess
preferably on foot or public trannyrainbow
what's a good locale to stay in that isn't super costly yet accesible to city shit?
when are you going? Staying in the city won't be cheap, but I may be able to get you a deal someplace through my friend's connections.
Fisherman's Wharf, Union Square, China Town, Golden Gate Park. All popular sites to see.
never mind.where'd be a good place to stay that's not rediculous high end.
farther away is cool if there is a bus to catch or train or some shit
I live in the bay area and it sucks. Sac is gay too Im sorry you gotta be there for a whole month
wat up
cool things to see in SF are the sea lions at fishermans warf, GG bridge...also you should ride a cable car once. the zig zaggy street is stupid and i wouldnt waste yo time. Mission has an eclectic bar scene but youll be hangin out with a bunch of razorguns' .. union square has more traditional night life. As for accomodations i like modern hotels; SOMA is good for those..you won't really be near all that much but you are close to the metreon which is kinda tight.
also wine country is just as close to sac as SF is and it could be cool to check out sonoma/napa if that is your thing (probly not)
like an hour and a half the other way is tahoe. i would spend a weekend in tahoe because it is gorgeous and the people are way less douchey than in sac/sf
dont underestimate sac though...i personally think the girls there fuggin hot(trashY!!) and the dudes are all tools.. the bars should def be a good time (i havent been to the bars really though). There is also this sweet place in Sac called sky high that is trampoline dodgeball..you should get a group from your crew to go. Haha p.s. a fuckload of my friends doing fc are going to the same thing as you
you mean you got friends that are going to a fire academy in sac town the month of april? no way
there is only 60 or so bros in my class, so if they're there i'll meat them
(I just like broadway!!!!!!!!!).
yeah, and I know why

.......
You location says northern cali where you from????????? My recomendations... Definetly go to napa on your days off get a hotel and get some friends or meet some rich smuck and hit up the valley and drink and drink and drink then puke and drink some more.... Then you got to hit up sf, all the places the bros mentioned above.... I work there 5 days a week and would live there if I didnt have kids (I just like broadway!!!!!!!!!). There is so much shit to do.. If your staying in sac your pretty close to tahoe take a ride up there the winter shit still going on if your into that or you could hit up the casinos
I remember finding quite a few inns in SF - like the Vagabond Inn in being cheapish - under $80/night.
Do you have a car?
I used to go to SF during the day, then drive out to Pt. Reyes and sleep in the back of my truck on the side of the road, or pay $30 for a space in a campground, and then play in Pt. Reyes all the next day.
Pt. Reyes is my favorite place out there, but you might be sick of outdoorsy stuff.
Stinson Beach, Mt. Tam and Muir Woods are also fantastic.
Places in Sac that don't suck...
The Fox and Goose Pub, Old Ironsides, The Backdoor Lounge. It should be Art Walk season, where you can walk around Midtown on Saturday evenings and go to the galleries and drink for free.
And Nimbus is right, you must go to Tahoe.
yeah, and I know why
.......
by the way, stay away from the TL (tenderloin) bino........that place is bad news.
i assume that's in sac?
i guess i'm staying in a fugged up area, off watt street at a military base (believe it's closed now)
