I wish I was Asian, people wouldn't think I was weird for liking Asian stuff so much. I would live in Japan, goto the nearby izayaka(sake bar/club) and practice my nanpa (the art of picking up women). Well, I'm planning on doing that one day anyhow...

I am an Asian American.. Korean American to be exact. I was born in Chicago and grew up on the north side. I went to a high school that had a lot of white Jewish kids but we also had about a 20% asian population.

I hung out with the guys on my sports teams.. I didnt play football.. but a lot of my friends did.. so we partied and caused trouble together.. during wrestling season.. I hung out with the wrestlers.. and during gymastics... I hung out with the gymnasts..

The asian hs kids I see now are either preppies or gang bangers.. I fit into both those categories back in the day.. and I was also a jock. I think I was just hanging out with different groups to see which one felt right.. cuz you don't really know at that age.

Your train of thought is not in the right direction. I don't see how you can single out asians as wanting to fit in. Perhaps a better category would be teenagers.. instead of asians.
