roids and lasik eye surgery

Just over a month ago I Had a call in to get my eyes done, I was 3 weeks in on just a dbol run. I was asking the same questions. First off, The only way you could mess with it is if your taking something that would change the shape of your eye. And I don't know of any drugs that will do that. I went off the Dbol like the day before, and Didn't go back on for about a week, you have to take a week off any heavy lifting. Other then that. just stay up the night before you get it done so that you can sleep all day after you have it done.
Have fun bro

I had it done last year as well, but I was not on. I would be concerned with increased BP that may effect the healing, but aside from getting the rest after the surgery, you will be good to go. I think I was able to start lifting lightly 4 days post surgery.

BTW, there is no anasthesia. You are awake - they numb your eye and give you a valium, that's it. You will have steroid/anti biotic drops to take for a week afterward to avoid infection, and a couple of follow ups to make sure you are progressing. I don't think halfaclue knows what is involved in lasik surgery. It is a 15 minute office procedure.

Good luck, Lasik rocks.

okey guys thanx for the advise, i´ll be taking care of all precautions given, hope to be able to see things clearly after my surgery, you all rock, now i feel more confident about it, to tell ya the truth i was scared of blindness or some irreversible side effect but I´ll take my chance since i do know this is no exact science.
thanx mates!

My ex wife works in this field, so I have a little background. I'm no expert!
I had mine done 6 years ago, and am still seeing 20/20.
I wasn't on either. But, they sometimes give you valium to calm you, which didn't work in my case, made me hyper! At any rate, no anestesia at all. Just a local numbing drop. I wuld be very careful of lifting anything heavy for a few weeks. There is a natural flap that is cut on the surface of the eye, and any rubbing, scratching, and possibly, exertion, would compromise that flap. It is a natural bandage that heals, but could take up to a year to be full healed. All the heavy lifting and exessive sweating, and wipng the eye area because of this, are all cautions. I've heard of horror stories, so please do the recommended recovery procedures your doc gives you, and you should be fine.
