roids and lasik eye surgery

im in the middle of my cycle consisting of 400 eq and 250 test enanth/ wk
will be having lasik eye surgery in 2 weeks...
should i stop my cycle? anyone with experience?
my doc has recomended to stopa all medications,... he dosen't know im on roids

no, dont stop, medications schmedications, worst thing that happens is your site is the same, j/k...hope you get that vision back bro, just dont make your shot day the day of the surg. you don't have to be bed ridden on that surg. so you're good to go...

what are u having done lasar, i can't read that. if so your fine, there is no recovery, if its major surgery though u can't workout for like 4 weeks minimum. i had gallbladder out in november and was mid cycle so i just told them and i healed faster. tell them though u don't wanna wake up while your in surgery

ok cool. have you talked about recovery with your surgeon. just to make sure you can work out before 4 weeks. if u can workout right away. just tell the anastegialogist exactly what you are on. he has to know so u don't wake up or something. i told mine i was on deca, and he said oh, well you'll heal quicker. which i did. but yes don't take anything a week before. i had the gallbladder out and needed vicodin like whoa. but i had to stop taking a week before and tough it out. its to make sure there are no complications.

I don't think you need to stop. I'm thinking about doing lasik myself. These gay ass contacs are driving me crazy.

personally, i would tell the surgeon that you are on steroids because it effects heart rate, bp, etc...and you wouldn't want your anathesioligist freekin' out on your ass and killin ya..

I had it done last May. I was seeing 20/20 the next day. I see 20/15 now it is well worth the money to be able to see without contacts or glasses.
They numb your eyes with drops there is no anasthelogist on site your never under. I would continue the cycle.

I had it done last April. You have to wear goggles while you sleep for three days. Dont do any really strenuos activity. You can work out, but just take it easy...He's right I could see 20/15 the day after surgery...You will have to keep your eyes really lubricated with eye drops...So good luck and enjoy your new vision.

Wow you got a ton of bad advice on this post. First tell your anasthelogist for sure everything your on because you definitely do not want any alergic reactions or bad drug interactions. Defionitely do not do any heavy lifting for at least a week after your surgery..most people do not know this but strenous activity such as squats and legg press have caused detached retinas. Lastly and the most important...STEROIDS WEAKEN YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM..that means any infection you might get as a result of the sugery will be more severe and harder to fight. Just be safe.
