Results from the neurologist not so promising

you're way too belligerent to die young.

Aren't those whom are belligerent often the ones whom die young due to being really stubborn and hard headed?

not sure how long after the fall but yes, I did... my beau above me asking me what happened. I was gashed in the chin to the bone and had hit my head on the side boards of my bed that is right next to my night stand.

Went to the er, they stitched me up and sent me on my way. I then begin having more intense migraines, vision blurs, black vision, short term memory loss, and dizzy spells.

They should have done a CT of the head if you came in with such an injury. Such an injury could cause quite a number of issues such as intercranial bleed to a subdural hematoma. Is this suspected area a definite mass and has a bleed been ruled out?

They didn't do any scan's when I went in... I explained the accident and they just begain to stitch me up.

I really trust my Dr... he's been with me thru my migraines and sleep issues for the past 5 years, and has helped me alot with info, reviewed files with me... keeps nothing to himself either. Very open and honest, doesn't sugar coat things for me much either ( I prefer it that way). I am no doctor, I asked for an explination as to why they were putting off my MRI for tuesday and he told me to come in and talk to him. He explained such and that was it. I am sure if he thought there were intercranial bleeding or a hematoma he would have done something right away... or at least I sure hope so.

thank you though... I will bring this up.

Headaches still frequent, and intense... vision still not so good at times and still some black spells. Alot of tension i'm sure has to do with all of this.

I smashed my skull into my windshield durind an accident and had a "spot" on my brain. It still shows up on CT scans.

My college roommate is a surgical oncologist at MD Anderson. He does brain surgery, other cancer sugeries, and thankfully stopped drinking Southern Comfort like it's water.

True dat. Read Lance Armstrong's book. He was as belligerent and stubborn as they come.
