This is my first post ever on any forum whatsoever. Wanted to ask if anyone is familiar with Charles Staley and his Escalating Density Program (EDT). I received a free 'mini-course' over e-mail and tried adapting it to my back routine. It reminds me of Louie's article on the Repetition Method in that it uses timed sets (and probably in some other things just can't remember right now). Anyway, the thing is that, I don't know if it was my imagination, but I think I saw an inmediate difference in my back. Keep in mind I only did one wokout and that was on a Thursday following a Monday heavy workout consisting of 8 working sets tops. On the Thursday workout I did seated 't-bar' rows for 20 mins followed by curl grip pulldowns (which I never do) for 15 mins. I think I went to light though as I think I was supposed to achieve failure by the end of each time period.
So if you know anything about EDT or have experimented with timed sets please share with me your experience as I'm considering whether or not to include them in my routine for an upcoming meet. Also any recommendations on how to be a better 'poster(?)' will be gladly welcome.
