Sup guys/gals !
I'm wondering if anyone out there has any experience in physical therapy or can toss out some advice as to a good rehab route to take after shoulder surgery.
on 3/11 I got arthroscopic surgery to my right shoulder, getting my labrum repaired and a shit ton of scar tissue removed..
The last month was horrible... I was taking pain killers like candy, eating like crap, and not getting any exercise.
The doctor didn't recommend PT for me, but said I should do the following.
1) Bench press a broom stick, and slowly work my way up.
2) Stretch the shoulder to the point of pain, and hold for a 20sec count.
my bio:
6' 1" / 190lbs
before my surgery my core lifts were at 200 for deads/bench/squats (this was a big step down, just to ensure no further damage to my body)
Thanks!
