Nope not out of line at all! I appreciate your feedback. It was more or less he was looking at the photographs not as a memory but as a real photo shoot for a magazine and just thought that I could be better and to not waste my money on pictures yet. Basically thought I would be a lot better off next year getting it done... I'm just confused about the whole thing... I want to do fitness modeling but I have someone who well I guess you could call a mentor tell me that it's not right and basically that's all I have to go off of. I guess that's part of figuring this whole competition, eating, work-out thing out... you win some and then you lose some...
Thanks on thinking I was better then I was. I hear that a LOT but apparently I was not what the judges were looking for. At the same time... I'm o.k. with it... It would be nice if I had a magic ball that would just show me my future and then I would know... but with everything you work your @ss off in hope that dreams will come reality.. and I'm surely not done yet. I just got started!

Meh....coulda shoulda woulda........Who knows what the judges are looking for?? It changes from show to show and you just have to put in & show up at your best & hope that is what they are looking for that day.....Someone I know showed up at a show recently & was placed 8th when she placed 3rd last year - so it happens to everyone.....what's important is that you had a good time & enjoyed yourself & got to meet some great people & take away what you've learned from this for the next time......As for the photo shoot - a good photographer can adjust lighting angles makeup etc etc so I don't necessarily agree with your trainer about the "don't do the pics" aspect....you've got to start somewhere right? I think you'd look beautiful with pics taken with a Polaroid.... :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose:

Glad you're feeling better!!

Thanks Jens your a sweetie
The photographer told me he could play with lights and stuff.... I guess in some dimmented way I don't want anyone to play or make anything on me look 'better' because of photoshop. I know the reality is though... all pictures are done up... Oh well I can't get stuck on the fact that I didn't do it.. because I don't want to have regrets. Life is to short to live in the past.. I'll just be 1,000 times over prepared for a shoot next year! I guess I'm trying to look at the positive aspect and know I'll be able to look around more at photographers and price them out... and look at all their work... etc... Plus again I'll obviously have more muscle and may be more happy with the pictures. Besides the fact of the actual cost right now... The extra money I didn't spend on pictures will pay for some of the competition costs this year that I wasn't counting on... So I guess that's the way I look at it...

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

So I have a new girl that may be logging in here... Well possibly 2.
One has asked me and is going to pay me to help her with a show for next summer. Another girl is my friend's sister who is interested in fitness modeling. Not sure if she means becoming a figure competitior. I pointed this site out and told her to start a journal. I'm also requesting my friend the first girl to start a journal in here!
I'm just going to hook this site up with a bunch of figure competitors and determined women!! ;)

This weekend I am sitting down and putting my plan of attack together as far as this bulking cycle. I'm supposed to meet up with the trainer at some point to discuss this.
I am READY to hit the gym full force... Going to go check to see if the judges notes are out yet also!!

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

Hey Treil. Pictures or no pictures you look great regardless. :rose: Your trainer should've been proud to have you get some professional shots done. Can't please everybody I guess.

Have a great day and have fun at the driving range if you go. :)

Re: Treils 2006 Competition Log

JULY 22 2006
Weight 135 (a bit bloated I can see it and feel it!!!)

It's 3:45 a.m. and I cannot sleep still have not been to bed..... I went out dancing for 4 hours straight and yeah... WIDE awake still.
SBT = You should be proud I stuck to the plan all day. Had not 1 alcoholic drink, or sugary one, just diet coke's and no food!!!
Hmmm Think I'll do some research on diet and formulate my food menu for today. I decided to go to the wedding reception. I would hate for them to pay for a plate of food and then it goes to waste. So I'm assuming chicken will hopefully be on the menu and salad.
Had some random guy come up to me and compliment me on my hair color and skin tone going together so well, and told me I should talk to his ex-girlfriend because her red hair looked awful on her.. I just laughed.
And to all those... I went to Tequila Rain and it was bachelor night. They were actually auctioning bachelor guys off. The owner of the joint got bought for $500!! That one I'm sure had to do with money! It's sad I look at these guys that take their shirt off and was thinking "Please God, tell them to put it back on!" Some looked hot, but most oh my word.... Chunksters!!!
Lots of fun dancing on the bar all night again!!
Well I'll post up my food in a bit...

M1 (Omelet) 1/2C crab, 1C mushroom, 1T onion, 6 egg white, 1T EVO (Ohh this would be awesome with a white sharp cheddar cheese or feta, but not in my diet or in the fridge), and blueberry green tea w/ 1 splenda
M2 protein 1 scoop, 2 splenda, 2T SF apricot jam, 1/4C blueberries
M3 turkey green bean walnut mix (1 serving)
M4 (wedding) hoping for 4oz. chicken, salad (1C lettuce, .5C tomato, .25C onion)
M5 protein 1.5 scoop, 1T SF strawberry jam, 2 splenda

1268 cal 152P/39F/67C (g) 50/29/21 (%)
