So a friend of a friend sets me up with this girl. I had been introduced to her earlier in the year at a party and we talked for a few minutes but that was it.
So after work we meet up for a drink. She orders wine and I get diet coke (I don't drink).
She starts telling me about her two kids, one is 13 and the other is 9. Turn off #1, personally I don't want to have to deal with kids from a previous marriage.
Next the conversation turns to drinking. Now my friend had warned me that she has a drinking problem and that she has been in and out of AA a few times. I should have known better.
Finally, more BS back and forth and she comes right out and says "well, how much money do you make?"
THAT'S IT. I threw a $20 on the table got up and walked out. I told her to lose my number because I don't need no golddigger.
What would you have done?
