re:old injury

Two years (or so) ago I injected sus (at least I believe it was sus but may have been B.S.) into my left bicep. I did it at the midpoint between crook of the arm and the insert under the delt. What i got from this injection was some kind of very nasty response where for two weeks my bicep had swollen up like a muthaf...ka and I could use that arm at all (the pain being so bad). The swelling went away and over the coming months I noticed that my range of movement had decreased a great deal. It is now two years later (at least) and my range of motion in contracting that bicep is probably a good 30-40% less than my good right bicep (which I had injected too but had no problems with). I assume that either I damaged some nerve tissue (in which case it is probably not repairable) or I have somehow damaged tendon or muscle to various degrees. the bicep now is considerably flatter in appearance than my right and I incur alot of elbow pain whenever I use that arm with any weights.
Anybody have any suggestions as to what the problem may be and how I might possibly rectify it. Never sought a doc's advice. I have managed to grit my teeth and train through the pain (but sometimes the pain is so severe it becomes prohibitive to training). Appreciate any ideas.
Cheers.

It could be scar tissue and the only solution I can think of would be arthroscopy.

If it doesn't hurt, I would not worry about it too much.
