rash from lipoflame?

never had this happen before, but this morning i took my normal dose of lipoflame, and about 10 minutes later i have this rash all over my neck, face, and arms. it burns like crazy and is bright red. what the hell is it from? the niacinamide? why is it just starting to happen after using lipoflame for 2 weeks?

How many did you take?

Niacin can cause your skin to be red and make it itch. It also increases your body temperature. Lipoflame contains niacin.

This would make sense if you took more than normal; but If this just recently happened while taking your normal dose, I'm not sure.

I've never got a reaction like that while on lipoflame - did you eat or drink anything different while taking it?

If I take it with carbs and drink plenty of water, I am fine.

Not to worry a small bit of food will solve it

Yeah I get it form Lipoflame every once in a while, as long as i have some kind of solid food around the time I take it or just before, im fine. The first time it happened to me it freaked me out too lol

yea i take it in the am before actually eating, maybe ill wait til after breakfast to take it. it went away after about 30 mins.

You dont need a full meal if you dont want...Just a peice or 2 of wheat bread will do it with lots of water.

I've never seen it but wonder if this is what's known as "Niacin flush"

took normal does this morning about 15 minutes after breakfast and drank about 16oz of water and didnt have any rashing or burning effects, good to go
