310 just for the service call without parts...i assume once they figure it out i might as mwell just buy a new one...this coming a week after my scanner fax printer took a shit on me...i hate electronics

DLP pwns joo

that sucks man

plasmas are really being phased out, I guess due to that reason

Next time got DLP or LCD

One of my co-workers had DLP and had a bunch of problems with it, luckily for him he took out an extended warranty. The warranty company ended up just getting him a new tv as it cost more to fix it than to just replace the entire thing.

I have nothing but plasmas in my house, and have never had a single problem with them (knock on wood).

LCD FTW.

What brand is it so we can all avoid it. Post up your experience on amazon.com or HW reviews, so others will think twice about buying this brand.

That's a shame

lol...I've never had a single problem, and a couple of them i've had for 4 years or so. Hopefully the new 50" ones I have will last as long as these others have.

Besides, they're cheap...if it breaks i'll just buy a new one.

My Samsung 46 died within 10 minutes of plugging it in, no shit. It's a common problem with their power supplies. Dude came by and fixed it about 3 days later...been solid ever since.

piece of shit haier

never again...my viewsonic lcd ive had for 2 years no problems at all...sell this fucker on craigslist sure someone can fix it for pennies lolol

How do they keep selling televisions that break? My parents and grandparents had regular televisions that lasted 30 years. And they didn't pay anywhere close to a thousand dollars for them.

Jeez, I'm never buying a television.
