Alot of misleading trash talk from mostly republicans about rap music and the content of the music. But you will find that rap music like this will never be mentioned because it doesn't contain

nigga
hood rat
pimp

Etc. You can't label rap music... You will also find that the music is pro black and directed @ black audiences especially the black folks in New Orleans. Everyone from George Bush to local republicans are doing everything they can to stop black folks coming back in town. New Orleans had the highest black home ownership of any town in the country. It makes sense to keep them out. I (incorrectly) tend to correlate republicans with racism .... Here I don't see how it can be avoided.

You remember Paris? Had a couple albums in the early 90's, "Devil Made Me Do It" and "Sleeping With The Enemy". Not sure what happened after "Sleeping...", lost track. But those two albums had 4 of my favorite songs of all time. Good shit.

No , the town is just immersed in poverty...
The cleanup (or lack there of) of New Orleans East isn't helping matters.

I hope all federal monies get into New Orleans instead of fighting over Iraq funding. This is truely a shame when building in a foreign get more attention then a town at home
