By the way I'm not anti rap. I prefer metal, but any sound with a hard angry edge and a strong beat I can enjoy. Let's be honest though - rap doesn't promote community building. When a rap "artist" makes it big the first thing they do is bail from their communitys. Other successfull blacks (Opera, Magic Johnson, ect) will invest in the hoods they came from, but not rappers.
