Rant about workout/gear partner!!!

All this is is a rant. If you have something else better to do please do so...if not read on!!

I have this co worker that I went to high school with and have worked with for years. We started working out together about 6 months ago. We talked about doing gear. He had done some in the past but with no PCT or knowledge of what he was doin.

He is one of those guys that when you try to tell him something he somehow knows something better or totally ignores what I say! (regarding gear).

He is strong but he is only 5' 6"ish and I'm 6'3"!! And he brags about how he benches more than me when I have to move the bar a foot more than him!!

So I have done an assload of research on the subject of cycles(thanks EF.com!!) and decided I was gonna do a Test Prop cycle. He decides to join me after doing absolutely no research of his own!! Even telling him about the site.

We get the gear, I suggested getting a calender and keeping track of his pins, ai dosage, etc. He doesn't and one week in he has already "accidentally" took a pin out of schedule.

And don't get me started on his diet!!

The week we started our cycle, I'm at work eating breakfast (Oatmeal w/ ANPB and protein powder mixed in) an apple, toast and 4 egg whites. He comes in with a brown paper bag with grease soaked thru it and pulls out a nasty ole Sausage and egg biscuit!! Then he has a little debbie Nutty Buddy (dipped in Peter Pan PB, "for extra protein") for break and then eats a can of my tuna for lunch! I think there was a doughnut thrown in there too. I'm not sure what he ate after that but I'm sure it was shit.

Next day?

Breakfast-Cheeseburger
Break-Cheeseburger

His diet also consist of Lean Pockets!! Sometimes 2 a day!! Also spoonfuls of Peter Pan PB.

I have quit trying to give any advice or help what so ever. He just won't fucking listen!!

I am secretly hoping that I have much better results and everybody at work comments on my growth and never says a word on his.

Diet is very important, if you are eating clean and he continues to eat shit you'll outshine him ther is no doubt about it. Good Luck.

you CANNOT let this get to you, he might put on more fat will be misconstrued as "gains"

people will juice and have amazing gains despite shitty diet simply because of genetics

i have no choice but to eat lots of CLEAN food to have gains, otherwise i'll carry more fat than i'm comfy with

do what's good for you and everything will fall into place :)

Good advice swolabolan :p im one of the people that have eaten like shit on cycle im talking wendys twice a week pizza chinese food all that shit and still had great gains hell i was shredded too but im doing it better this time clean cals and i feel and look better.

Yeah i was thinking the same thing. THe shorter your arms are the less you actually have to move to complete a full rep and the guys with shorter arms can tend to put up more weight.

That, and my shorter buds with the same lbm/bf look totally fookin ripped up and also enjoy bigger lifts. Amazing what a difference a few inches makes.

Jealousy? Maybe...Bitchyness? Definitely!! I would love to rub it in his face after he called me a fatass for so long!! LOL

As for being my friend/training partner...I wouldn't mind finding another, he gets on my nerves pretty bad. LOL

Seriously?? this is the perfect time for you to spank him, share no more info with him just do it the right way.. let him fail, that's the only way he will learn and in your case maybe even give you the respect that you have earned..

make sure u spank him in private though and not in front of the sauna men. they may get excited.
 
Yeah, just focus on what you are doing and don't worry about him. It will only hold you back, although a little friendly competition can be good. Now not to rub it in, but I eat fast food like its my job when I'm on cycle, and I still eat it a little when I'm not on cycle. My metabolism lets me get away with it, although I would never in a million years argue this is what you "should" do. Would I be better off if I didn't? Probably.

if i even think about stopping by a fast food joint cuz i'm in a rush, i'll gain 4387921 lbs. and trust me, they don't turn out to be pretty lbs. either lol...now 10 years ago, it was a whole nother story and i was right there with ya

That's exactly what I'm doing. I know he is gonna ask me how to dose his A-dex and later on his PCT and I'll just tell him to figure it out himself, I'm tired of doing his homework for him.

Hanskleiva- He would never admit that anyone was doing better than him, but even if he did, it wouldn't be his fault :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
 
It's not gear related but similar.

I had a friend who would always brag about how she had never stepped foot in a gym, and granted, she had a nice figure.

She would say if she needed to lose weight she would just 'stop eating' for a few days.

She got married, and within a year, she put on nearly 50 lbs, and mostly around her belly, she looked pregnant.

She looked like a fat pregnant girl for about two years.

She is now dieting again (Weightwatchers, no training though), and she has lost weight, but she is just a smaller fat version now.

I have taken her to the gym, tried to help her out with diet (she has done things like when we have been out, ordered fries, and then asked me as she is putting vinegar on 'Is vinegar bad for me?'), but she doesn't follow any of my advice.


My point is, what might work for him in the short term is not going to work in the long term.

'accidently' make his adex go missing and tell him he didnt need it anyway as it just slows the gains down. tell him you think he should be shooting the hcg at 500iu ed. and then watch him grow a nice set of titties. THEN you can be a real friend and go out and buy him a bra. what are friends for anyway............

You can only help people so much. If they don't want to listen to your advice stop giving it. I had a post about a kid I knew that was going to run anadrol for 8 weeks and had no pct lined up (also taking test and deca I believe) and plans on staying on test for 3 years and he's 24. I just ended up giving up on him. As for your friends diet let him keep doing the things he is doing, you'll jump right past him in strength and looks and then you'll have to hear him complain about why your stronger than him. Don't let him lose your focus though, keep doing the right things and stop worrying about him.
 
Drop him like a brick. You don't need him holding you back, or eating your tuna. Tell him to get your own damn tuna...biatch.

This is part of the reasoning I have worked out by myself for over 14 years. I can't find anyone who is dedicated, motivated or trains hard. I gave up years ago. I couldn't even imagine working out with someone now, it would seem to strange and more than likely slow me down.
