Probably you all already know this but there is new software which can scan your hardware and installed programs and tell you if there are updates available. The commercial version also tells you where to get them. I had noticed however that it does not tell the difference between Windows XP and Windows XP X64 and Windows XP 64 bit... So some of the information may be inaccurate but still better then nothing
