Quick question

V, do cardio first thing on an empty stomach. I would have a glass of ice water first to get the metabolism jump started. After cardio have a meal replacement drink that is balanced, meaning not lo-carb, and a good efa in it. Now you are ready for weight training. After training have your regular pro\mal drink. Did this help?

i thought this was a quick question for someone who would know.....anyone?

Well, I don't know much, but I believe that fast protein with high GI carbs is exactly what you need after training (I just learnt that :) )

I don't see why it should be any different if you add cardio - the fact remains that you've done weights.

As for cardio alone - well - I would guess that you still need some carbs, but I don't know what type or how many - maybe not as many as if it were weights you'd just done.

Don't know if that helps. Good luck on any more answers.
