Question on Carbs during cycle

So, I was just wondering, is it really that necessary to take ball itching amount of carb during cycle?? I know the reason we have to eat carb is to support our body with energy and glycogen in muscle and all that good stuff, get insulin spike and help protein synthesis to build muscle..
And lets say I go on to typical test only cycle at 600mg a week for 12 weeks. Since Test will cause protein synthesis, so wouldnt it be just better to eat high protein and high fat, and moderate carb? Whats your opinion??
( im not going onto any cycles, so dont assume and flame me automatically lol)

It is possible to gain muscle even without carbs while on cycle if that's what you're asking. But won't be nearly as effective. Insulin is the most anabolic hormone in the human body, you just have to know how to make it work for you. So, the key is timing, amount and type of carbs

Amino Acid anabolism is the most interesting of all the metabolic process in our body IMO and appears to be the one with the most mystery (to me). All I can say is that many of the steps of amino acid synthesis require other amino acids (i.e. your protein intake) and many of the substrates that feed into this metabolic cycle also require carbohydrate derivatives (ie the reason people suggest taking in a lot of carbs). I don't know much about Cycling but I know it increases muscle mass, therefore it increases amino acid synthesis, therefore more precursors for these amino acids are needed (i.e. increase protein and carb intake).
